Should an employee test POSITIVE or refuse a test, this shall result in termination and he/she will be removed from all safety sensitive positions. All positive test results will be reported to the U.S. Coast Guard. This could result in the loss of credentials, including your Merchant Mariner’s Document. Robbins Maritime, Inc. I certify that the information given by me in this application is true. I understand that if the information is found to be false in any way, Robbins Maritime may refuse to employ me or discharge me if I have begun working when it is discovered. I authorize the use of any information in this application to verify my statements, and I authorize my past employers and any other references or persons I have listed to answer all questions asked concerning my ability, character, reputation and previous employment record. If employed, I understand and agree to abide by all Robbins Maritime policies, procedures, guidelines and training (including, but not limited to, the current Safety Policy) and that my continued employment with Robbins Maritime is conditioned upon my compliance with, and satisfactory performance of, these requirements. I also understand that Robbins Maritime may revise these policies, procedures, guidelines and training at any time with or without notice.
I also understand that this application will be kept on active file for one (1) year from the date completed if there is an active ad for the position, after which time I would have to re-apply in accordance with established Company procedures.
I specifically authorize Robbins Maritime to investigate my background, including any and all references available, criminal and other judicial records, where applicable to the position for which I am applying and consistent with applicable law.
